Community Nursery

EcoMatters has a thriving community nursery, where a range of plants best suited for stream or wetland restoration projects are raised from eco-sourced seed. Eco-sourcing means collecting seeds from naturally-occurring vegetation close to where they will be replanted.

The nursery is supported by the Whau and Waitākere Ranges local boards, and through the sale of plants.

WHY IT’S GREAT TO BUY FROM OUR COMMUNITY PLANT NURSERY
