About this Event
Nau mai, haere mai. Join us for a planting at Glendene Reserve, and stay for a BBQ and chat together at the end. The native plants you put into the ground will help Glendene Stream become a thriving habitat for native birds and fish, and will be enjoyed for generations to come.
Pam from EcoMatters will chat about what we can do to prepare for future storms, and look at the way water flows through the neighbourhood.
Please wear sturdy shoes or gumboots. Bring a rain jacket and gardening gloves if you have any (some gloves will be provided). Kids must be accompanied by supervising adults.
