Facilitated by EcoMatters, War on Weeds happens annually during the month of March. This year West Aucklanders will enjoy access to the weed bins for a longer time, after the War on Weeds was cut short in 2020 due to Covid-19.
Extra bins around West Auckland are here to support you as you eliminate invasive weeds in your backyards, and by extension, control the spread of weeds into Auckland’s beautiful West Coast bush.
Bin locations are shown on the map below, and will be available from 22 February – 31 March 2021. Thank you for using these bins only for the target weeds listed below.
