Looking for a Meeting Space With a Difference?

EcoMatters has created a beautiful meeting and workshop space where you can rent-a-space for the day (or longer). We have two meeting/workshop spaces available for rent in our Te Whare Ahua or EcoHub at 1 Olympic Place, New Lynn, West Auckland.

All areas include:

  • WiFi
  • Use of a photocopier
  • Kitchen facilities (complimentary coffee, tea and filtered water. You will need to supply your own milk)
  • Bathroom facilities
  • A relaxation and library area

Kōwhai Room (for up to 25 people)

The larger Kōwhai Room (above) looks out onto part of our community gardens and has all day sun on a sunny day. During a break you can recharge with a cup of tea in the garden, enjoy a chat or take time out in the library area. Sharing space is a chance for like-minded people to make connections – who knows what big ideas may hatch!

Rates (excl. GST)

A bond of $200 will be charged on all bookings - to be refunded within 10 business days following the date of hire.

  • Per hour: $25
  • Per day (8 hours): $150
  • Per half day (4 hours): $75
  • Night rate (5-8.30pm): $50

The Kōwhai Room hire also includes:

  • A projector with large screen and sound
  • Tables and chairs (optional)
  • Portable white board available

Turutu Room (for up to 10 people)

Rates (excl. GST) 

A bond of $200 will be charged on all bookings - to be refunded within 10 business days following the date of hire.

  • Per hour: $15
  • Per day (8 hours): $90
  • Per half day: $45
  • Night rate (5-8.30pm): $30

The Turutu Room hire also includes:

  • A whiteboard
  • Table(s) and chairs (optional)
  • Projector available for hire ($15 flat rate)
