About this Event

Let’s show some love to this Wai Horotiu Tributary by weeding and mulching around our recent community planting.

Weeding will give the young native plants room to grow, while mulching will help the plants retain moisture and enrich the soil so they can thrive through the warmer months ahead.

All welcome, and no experience needed, as our friendly stream ranger Alanah will be there to guide you and to share more about this transformative backyard stream restoration project.

Please wear covered shoes, long sleeves and trousers and bring your own gardening gloves if you have them. Bring snacks or drink to share at the finish and chat.
