About this Event
Join us to help put native plants in the ground along the Manawa Stream. The native plants will help stabilise the stream banks, mitigate erosion, and be enjoyed by all for generations to come. We’ll chat about the way rainwater flows through the neighbourhood and the benefits of creating a green “spongy” environment. Then we’ll finish with a BBQ together at the end.
Please bring a rain jacket if you have one, and wear sturdy shoes or boots. It’s a steep site, so recommended for ages 8+ only, and kids must be accompanied by supervising adults. RSVP to [email protected].
