Do you want a thriving backyard full of healthy native plants and birds? Join us this Conservation Week with Weedfree expert Simon Grant to learn how to get started, which native plants are right for your property, and which weeds to look out for. He'll talk about how to manage the native bush on your property, how to keep things practicable, and he'll help you troubleshoot any issues you may be having.
Want to be even more effective? Bring a neighbour and work together to create a diverse habitat in your local area. Bring photos of your site and of natives and weeds on your property if you have questions. To finish the day, we'll have a short walk around the local area to identify natives that you may want to plant on your property.
Whether you are just getting started or you are well on your way to creating a diverse backyard sanctuary, Simon will be able to give you some great tips. Workshop fee includes two native plants grown in the EcoMatters native plant nursery to take home.
We want our workshops to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier but you would like to attend this course, please email email@example.com.
